This article explains how to configure surcharge settings for individual Payment Processors. This feature allows you to apply surcharge fees only when specific processors are used for credit card transactions.
Credit Card Surcharge Configuration in Payment Processor
Two fields in the Payment Processor settings:
Surcharge When Paying by Credit Card – The surcharge percentage applied when the customer selects a credit card as the payment method.
Surcharge Minimum Amount – Specifies the minimum amount at which the surcharge will be triggered for the selected processor.
Set up
To locate the fields, go to Payment Center Settings, select your processor.
If the fields are not available, you need to add it to the Payment Processor Page Layout.
