If your customer has an expired or expiring credit card. You can directly send an email to the customer with a link to update their Payment Profile.

To do that:

  1. Go to the Account
  2. Click Send email icon (If this is not visible, you will have to to enable it in your Account Page Layout)
  3. In To field, enter Contact
  4. In Related To field, select the Payment Profile
  5. Click 'Insert, Create or Update Template' icon
  6. Click 'Insert a Template'
  7. In Templates dropdown, select 'All Classic Templates'
  8. In Templates Folders dropdown, select 'Payment Center Templates'
  9. Click 'Update Payment Profile'

  10. Click Send button

An email will be sent to the contact with a link to update their Payment Information.
