Why An Invoice is Locked

 

There are several reasons why when paying an invoice, it says the invoice is “locked”. One of the causes could be that the invoice cannot be updated for some reason.

 

If this happens you can try and simply edit and save the invoice. It will show you an error message which is the reason why the invoice is “locked”. (see the image below)
