Add tip amount on Invoice Line payment

Feature Update: Improved Tip Tracking for Device Payments

Previously, when a tip was added during a payment using a device, the tip was included in the Paid Amount field of the Invoice Line Payment record. This made it difficult to distinguish between the actual payment and the tip.

To improve clarity and reporting, we’ve introduced a new field: Tip Amount. This field now separately tracks any tip included in a payment.

 

What’s New:

  • A new field, Tip Amount, is added in the Invoice Line Payment page-- the Paid Amount remains the same, including the tip.

Action Required:

If you don’t see the Tip Amount field in your layout:

  1. Navigate to the Invoice Payment Line page layout.

  2. Edit the layout and add the Tip Amount field to make it visible.

This change helps provide a clearer breakdown of payments and tips, improving both transparency and financial tracking.
