On earlier versions of Payment Center (versions prior to Dec 2013 release), Payment Profiles on payment pages were displayed by Account. As an example, let’s say you have the following Payment Profiles:
Notice that there are two profiles for account “Burlington Textiles Corp of America”, but under different contacts (John Smith and Jack Black). If you pay an invoice for “Burlington Textiles Corp of America”, both profiles will be displayed regardless of contact:
To filter payment profiles by contact, check Display Profile By Contact in Payment Center Settings (please add the field to the page layout if not displayed):
If the flag is checked, profiles will be displayed by contact, as shown below:

NOTE: When the 'fw1__Display_Profile_By_Contact__c' option is activated, payment profiles are typically shown by contact on payment pages, with a default display by account if no specific contact is provided. On the other hand, activating 'fw1__Display_Profile_By_Contact_Strict__c' ensures that payment profiles are strictly displayed by contact on payment pages; if no contact is specified, no profile will be shown, offering a more rigorous control over profile visibility.
