Currently, when a soft decline occurs, Payment Center marks the payment as "Authorized – Pending Review." Merchants then have the option to process the sale by selecting the Capture button or reject the sale by selecting the Void button.
This feature introduces an option for merchants to automatically decline payments, available with the Winter '26 release.
A new flag has been added in the Payment Processor to enable this option:
Auto Decline Payment in Pending Review (checkbox)

If checked:
The user will see a decline message during payment.
No payment record will be created in Salesforce.
The system will make a callout to void the transaction.
A record will be created in Failed Transactions.
If not checked:
The customer will manually decide to decline or accept the payment (current functionality).
